It feels like I’ve only just posted my last life update, but since then a lot has been going on. I took a large break from blogging because I was sick and in that time I thought about my blog and what I want to do with it in the future. This year my goal was to post 2-3 times a week but that was a bad decision. I felt so stressed and rushed trying to get that many posts out. I have a 4 year old with ASD so finding time to sit down and write 3 posts a week was getting really hard, especially when a lot of them were reviews so I had to find time to also try whatever I was reviewing.
I honestly thought about completely leaving blogging and just deleting my blog, but I’ve been doing this for three years and I do enjoy it. What I didn’t enjoy was feeling like I had to post three times a week.

I think going forward I’m not going to have a schedule at all. I’m just going to post when I actually have something to post. I will post my last two bullet journal posts for the year, but that will stop next year (hopefully I will make plan with me videos on my YouTube.)
October, November and December are usually the busy months for me when it comes to my blog. I used to post a lot of Halloween and Christmas posts but this year I’m really going to scale back. It was really stressful last year and I felt like I spent all of December writing posts and not enjoying my Christmas.

Basically I won’t be posting every week anymore. It really was getting too stressful for me, and if I want to continue I have to make a change now.
I don’t want this post to be entirely negative though. Some good things have happened lately.

I’ve been doing the 31 Days of Halloween Makeup challenge over on my Kayla Loves Instagram! I have had so much fun doing it and in this short amount of time I really feel like my eye looks have improved!

I am also now part of the Lash Life affiliate program. Lash Life have quickly become my absolute favourite lash brand and I’ve used them in all of my Halloween looks. They’re super comfortable and very big and fluffy. Probably the best thing about them is their price! They’re $10-$12 depending on what style you buy. My favourites at the moment are Vogue. They’re considered ‘natural’ but they’re still very big and beautiful! If you want to try them for yourself you can use my code KAYLA10 to save even more.

I also started a personal Instagram page. I wanted somewhere to post things that weren’t makeup looks or my bullet journal. I live in such a beautiful town and we just moved into a new house and I love home photos so it’s nice to have a place to post those kinds of photos. If you want to follow me, my new IG is HelloWildflowerrr. It’s Spring here and we just went to the Tulip Festival so expect a lot of flower photos from me!

I hope this post made sense and wasn’t just a rambling mess. I am excited for the future of my blog and hope you look forward to see what is coming!
