It’s been a few weeks since my last Mask Monday and that’s because I’ve bought so many new masks that I didn’t know what one to try next! I decided on this one because the last charcoal mask I tried wasn’t that great so I wanted to give them a second chance.
I’m just going to start off with saying, I love this mask. I don’t have a before and after photo of my face because I couldn’t get a good photo showing how it changed my skin. It mainly made it feel better. I have really bad dry patches sometimes and it gets really textured and flaky and using this mask along with my other new skincare (which I will post a review of soon) made my skin so soft.
After using this mask I could really feel a difference in my skin. I honestly do think it helped with balancing the oils in my face. My skin felt hydrated, clear and healthy after using it.
My skin has been playing up lately. I haven’t been wearing makeup much, but I did last week and the day after I had broken out where I put bronzer. I’ve had this problem for years now and I thought I had finally found a bronzer that worked for me (Too Faced Chocolate Soleil) but sadly, I didn’t.
I’ve been using this mask a lot over the last week and a bit and I only have one tiny spot on my jawline now.
- Targets oil, impurities and blemishes
- Reduces damaged caused by pollution
- Absorbs toxins
- Revitalises and refreshes blemish prone skin
- Helps to tighten pores, reduce shine and balance the complexion
- Suitable for all skin types, especially oily/combination
If you have problem skin like me, I would definitely recommend this mask. It’s available almost everywhere (including grocery stores) and is really affordable at only $17 although it is always on sale somewhere. It’s also 100ml so you get a lot of product for your money. I’ve used mine 5-6 times and it is still very full!
It does have a very strong scent, so if you’re sensitive to smells, I would be mindful of that.
Have you tried any Sukin masks? I have two more that I want to try soon, so I may review those in the future. Also, do you like that I’ve added in a little drawing? I recently bought an Apple Pencil and I’ve really loved drawing things like this so I want to add them into all of my reviews and recipes. Let me know!
