Lately I’ve been taking a step back from makeup and really focusing on my skin; you may have noticed that from my Mask Monday posts. I feel like I have pretty good skin but obviously I have a few problems like acne and an uneven skin tone so I’m always searching for anything that will help that.
Palmer’s is one of my favourite brands ever and I’ve written about them many times here. I got a body scrub and a face mask. I’ve been using the scrub for about a week and I really love it! It smells amazing and makes my skin super soft. I will definitely continue to use this. I’ve not tried the mask yet, but I will probably post a review once I have tested it.
Another one of my favourite brands is Formula 10.0.6. Their products are amazing and super affordable. I’ve been using their skincare since high school and has always been amazing. I got a pack of their pore strips because you can never have enough of those. I got my husband his favourite mask with is their 3 in 1 Wash + Scrub + Mask. He has sensitive skin and this doesn’t hurt him to put on like a lot of others do. I also had to try one of their new masks that they have just released! It’s their first ever bubble mask and as expected it was super weird! I’ve only used it once so I’ll have to use it more before I give a full review but it had the same weird feeling as the last bubble mask I used.
I got two masks from Sukin which I am so excited about because I love their cleansers so much. I’m currently testing out the charcoal mask and a review for that will be my next Mask Monday post. I haven’t tried the purifying mask yet, but I can’t wait. They are such a great brand and I love what they’re doing.
I have heard so many people talk about Dermalogica so I thought I should really try them out and see if they’re as good as people say they are. I got a sample of the Clear Start cleanser a few years ago and I remember really liking it so I got a full sized bottle. I also got a mini Clay Cleanser. I prefer using a clay cleanser after taking off may makeup. I wear so much that I feel like I need something like a clay cleanser to really clean my skin.
Just like Dermalogica, I have seen an insane amount of people taking about The Ordinary. Their skincare scared me at first because labelling something as ‘acid’ would make anyone not want to put it on their face. Obviously it’s not going to burn my face off and so far I’m really liking it. Again, I will have a review of this up soon.
So that is my skincare haul! I am so excited to write more about some of these things and let you know more detailed thoughts. If you’ve tried any of these products I’d love to know what you thought of them.
