MASK MONDAY: GARNIER HYDRA BOMB

I’ve decided to start a new little series here on my blog and it is Mask Monday! I was inspired by one of my favourite beauty gurus on Instagram, Kim ter Stege. Every Monday she tries out a fun new face mask and gives a little review. I really wanted to try out some new masks as my skin hasn’t bee that great lately so I thought I’d do reviews for the ones I try! I may not do these every Monday, but for they will be quite frequent.

The first mask I’ve decided to try the Garnier Hydra Bomb mask. I’ve seen a lot of influencers talk about this and they all seem to like it so I thought I’d give it a try. It is super affordable at only $5 (if you’re Australian, Coles and Woolworths always have them half price!). I bought 3 to test out over a week and I have noticed a difference in my skin.

If you’ve seen on my twitter or instagram you’ll know that I’m about to move house so I’ve been a little stressed and I’ve not been sticking to my routine. My skin was really dry and I was breaking out a lot and this mask seems to have really helped with my dryness.

The packaging says it is the ideal mask for people with dry and dull skin, which is definitely me right now. It also says after using the mask for 15 minutes your skin will be “intensely rehydrated, smoother and radiant” and I can say it’s did do that for me. After a week of using “fine lines are less visible, skin looks plumper and more radiant”. I don’t really have fine lines and my face was already pretty plump so I can’t see it doing much for me, but my skin does feel much better after using these masks for a week.

I will definitely be buying these masks again when they’re on sale. They’re affordable, easy to buy (because they’re from the supermarket and I don’t have to wait for them in the mail) and they work for my skin!

I’m sorry I didn’t take before and after pictures of my skin. I didn’t think about it at the time, but next time I review a full face mask (I also have some lip and eye masks to try out) I’ll try and remember to take photos.

Let me know if you’ve tried this mask and if it worked for you. Also let me know your favourite mask/what you want me to try out soon!

I tried a Garnier mask on Friday night, I used the Moisture Bomb mask, and I loved it!! I looked a bit scary with it on, but it was worth it. I can really tell a difference in my skin, it feels really hydrated and my skin can be pretty dry at times!
