I have never been so excited for a blog post before! I’ve spent so long decorating and even making decorations for this Christmas. This year we’ve even decorated our bedroom!
Lets start off with trees. This year I have three! I have two real and one fake. Our main tree is a real one and I didn’t put many decorations on this year and I’m really happy with how it looks! I actually wanted a small tree this year and when I picked this out were outside and I thought it would be perfect, but when we got it home and put it up, I was so shocked because it’s huge! I really love it though. The decorations for our main tree are from Kmart – Star Garland.
Our second tree is also a real one, and is quite a bit smaller than our main tree. This one is near Archer’s bedroom door so he can see it from his bedroom (he loves Christmas lights). We put a bunch of wooden houses and wooden deer heads (from last year’s tree) on this one.
Our third tree is a fake one and we’ve decorated it with coloured lights and candy canes. This one is super fun and we have it in our dining room.
This photo is the little Christmas display I’ve put on top of our little bookshelves in our dining room. I made the little gnomes, star wall hanging and the star candle holder. I’ve not decorated this part of the house before, but I think it’s going to have to become a regular thing, because it really looks so lovely and makes our dining room feel very cosy and christmassy.
Next is our fireplace, which you’ve already seen if you saw my DIY Wreath Feature Wall post. The NOEL blocks were from Kmart last year, the Santa key was from Coles (and doesn’t sell them online) and the wooden house display that lights up was from a shop in town that doesn’t have an online store so I can’t link it, but here are links to all the other stuff!
Lastly is our bedroom which I am super excited about! I’ve not decorated our bedroom before because you can’t get Christmas bedding in Australia (now that we finally have Amazon, I will hopefully find some next year) so I made these cushions and printed some Christmassy photos!
I also decorated my wall grid above my desk. I decorate it differently every month and I absolutely love it!
So that is our house at the moment! If you want to see more of our house, my husband is doing Vlogmas and he has filmed a lot of our decorations so far. We have a lot of Christmassy things planned for this weekend so you should definitely subscribe to him so you can see what we’re up to!
