ARCHER’S CHRISTMAS LIBRARY

Archer absolutely loves books so for today’s posts I thought I’d share the Christmas books we are reading this year. This post was originally going to be about movies, but Archer prefers books because they’re short and he usually doesn’t like to sit through entire movies.

Santa, I’ve been a Good Boy

This book is super adorable and I mainly bought it because the main child looks exactly like Archer, olive skin, brown curly hair and big blue eyes! It’s a great book that teaches kids to be kind, and I really love that.

How the Grinch Stole Christmas

A Christmas book collection just wouldn’t be complete without this book. It’s a classic and Jason and I both love it. We also love the 2000 movie and watch it multiple times each year, so we’re really happy to have the book now to get Archer to love it also.

Santa is Coming to North West Tasmania

I’ve been seeing these books around for a while now and I knew we had to get one when I saw they had made a North West Tasmania one. They are extremely cute books and there are so many different versions for cities all over Australia! Sadly, the link I provided doesn’t have every single version, but there are quite a few and if you can’t find yours online, Kmart, Target and a bunch of other stores have them and will probably have ones relevant to where you live.

The Elf on the Shelf

If you read my last post you will know that we are doing The Elf on the Shelf this year! I love this book and Archer seems to like it also. It is a story from your Elf that explains that they’re there to keep and eye on you and make sure you’re being good and then each night reports back to Santa. It’s very cute!

Pig the Elf

I am obsessed with pugs so of course we had to get a Pig the Pug book for Christmas! We bought the set that comes with a little Pig plush toy and Archer loves it! While we read it we play with the little Pig toy and Archer laughs so much! If your child loves dogs, this is the perfect Christmas book!

Pat the Christmas Bunny

My Mum got this book for Archer a few years ago but he was a little too young for it back then because it has a lot of strings and moving bits to it, but now he loves books like that so it’s the perfect time for us to read it!

My First Christmas Collection

This is another set of books that my Mum got Archer for his first Christmas but I had forgotten we had it until this year! It is a set of four books about 4 different characters, a Fairy, a Snowman, Santa and a Reindeer!

So that is Archer’s Christmas book collection! I think out of all of these books, his favourite would have to be Pig the Elf! I would absolutely love to add to this so please let me know your favourite Christmas book or your child’s favourite Christmas book.

It’s so nice that you read to him I love the selection of books it shouldn’t be purely for entertainment it’s great when they can actually learn good values as well.

Archer is so lucky that you take time to read to him, something that all parents should do.
Archer will remember these precious times.
