BURGUNDY FALL MAKEUP LOOK

So it has been officially Spring here in Australia for a month, but where I live it is still very much Winter. It has rained almost every day this month, so I am still in the mood for doing fall/winter makeup looks. A lot of my readers are from America and the UK so I thought I’d do a fall look for them! For this look I used my Kylie Cosmetics Burgundy palette. I’ve had this for almost a year and I haven’t used it as much as I should. It is a gorgeous palette that is absolutely perfect for fall. I decided to do something I’ve not been doing much lately, a matte eye look. I’ve really been loving glitter and shimmer shades lately so this was a nice change. I only used three colours for this look, Beach, Burgundy and Brick. I started with Beach in my crease and then used Brick to build up a darker colour. I then packed Burgundy all over my eyelid and then blended it up into my crease. I also used Burgundy on my lower lash line.
This look was super simple and I love how it looks so I’ll probably be doing this more often!

For foundation I used the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt’r in the Shade 330 ( I caved and bought it once I figured out my shade). I won’t talk about it much in this blog post because I’ve not worn it out the house yet and I want to give a proper review on it. When I purchased the foundation, I also got another Killawatt highlighter! I got the duo everyone has been talking about, Ginger Binge/Moscow Mule. I absolutely love this duo. It has multiple uses which makes it worth the money in my opinion. Today I used it as a blush and a highlight (I used it on my eyes the other day, you can see it here).

For my lips I used one of my all time favourite Lime Crime Velvetines, Saint. This is one of the few lipsticks that I’ve completely finished and had to buy another one of. It’s one of those shades that looks great on most skin tones too. I’ve spoken about Velvetines a lot on my blog because they’re my favourite lipstick formula ever, but in case you’re new, they have a completely matte finish but are not flaky or uncomfortable at all.

I really hope you like this burgundy look! I will post a bright, colourful, Spring look when the weather is better. I’m also planning on doing a couple of fun halloween looks, so make sure you check back to see those!
