If you’re a makeup fan, I’m sure you’ve heard that Rihanna has released her own makeup line, Fenty Beauty. I am obsessed with makeup and Rihanna so obviously I was going to get a couple of things. It feels like I’ve been waiting years for this makeup line to be available but really its only been a month or two, but the wait was definitely worth it! Her line launched with a huge variety of products, so there was something for everyone. She has 40 foundation shades which never happens with brand launches. I didn’t get one because I just honestly didn’t know what shade to get. I don’t think I’ve ever had so many shads to choose from. Sadly, I don’t have a Sephora in my state so I can’t get shade matched so I’ll just have to watch reviews of people with a similar skin tone to me and buy the shade they use.
Now on to what I did buy! I got a Killawat Freestyle Highlighter in the shade Trophy Wife. I feel like this is the one product that everyone is talking about because it is so different. It is a bright yellow-gold highlight and it is extremely bright. I absolutely love different highlighter shades because I love trying out new makeup looks. While this highlight is extreme, I think if you use it lightly it can be good for every day wear.
If you have darker skin like me, then I would definitely recommend Trophy Wife!
To go along with the Highlighter, I got the Cheek Hugging Highlight Brush. This is the most expensive brush I’ve ever bought, but it is really lovely! I don’t think it’s really worth $46, but in Australia we always pay a lot more for makeup so I can’t really complain about the price. That being said, when I buy the foundation I will be buying the foundation brush also.
Lastly, I got the Gloss Bomb Universal Lip Luminizer in the only shade they released, Fenty Glow. I’ve watched so many reviews on Fenty Beauty over the last few days, and everyone has said how amazing this gloss smells, so the first thing I did was smell it, and it really does smell good! I’ve not found it sticky at all and everyone I’ve seen wear it looks amazing.

I haven’t tried anything from Fenty yet. I did take a look at Sephora and was surprised by the size of the highlighters. They were much bigger than I expected. I’m new to to your blog. http://www.mrsqbeauty.com
The products sound great. I never know what shade of foundation to get – I usually end up with one that is way too light or way too dark #TwinklyTuesday
