Today, we went to see Jason’s parents and on our way home we stopped by the beach to let Archer have a little run around to tire himself out before bed. The last time we took him to the beach he hated it but since then has played with sand and water at daycare so he is comfortable around it.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever spoken about this on my blog before, but Archer is autistic. My husband, Jason, has written about it over on his blog if you would like to read about it. Archer loves the feeling of sand and rice running through his fingers so he spent most of the time feeling the sand and all the rocks. It was adorable but made it kind of hard to take photos of his outfit.

I absolutely love when Archer wears little button up shirts like this! It makes him look so grown up. Sadly, his shirt was given to him over a year ago so I can’t find the exact one online, but I will link to a similar style.
