Ever since Archer was born, we have sent out Christmas cards to our close friends and family. Archer’s first Christmas was super adorable and he was dressed in a little Santa outfit. Last year I was really rushed and I honestly didn’t like it that much, but I wanted to send a card out anyway. This year I’ve tried to make up for last year and I’ve put a lot of time into it!
I originally wanted this year’s Christmas card picture to be Archer playing in the snow, but sadly, we missed out on seeing snow this year. I didn’t let that upset me though because I wanted a great picture this year no matter what! We decided to go out into a forest near our house and take the photo there.
Archer had a really fun time running around but it made it quite hard to get a picture of him. I think we took a couple hundred photos that day, but only a couple of them were actually usable!
This was the photo we decided on in the end. I absolutely love this photo of Archer and I am so happy with it!
For my mum, Jason’s parents and his Grandparents, I decided to do something special for them and put their Christmas card in a frame. I saw these gold frames at Kmart and thought they would be perfect because they’re not regular frames. You put your picture between two pieces of glass. I loved that because I could put a picture of Archer in the from and on the back I could put a little ‘Merry Christmas” message.
I also got some regular cards printed for our other family and friends. I love Christmas and receiving Christmas cards and personalised ones are even better! I can’t wait to show Archer all of our Christmas cards through the years when he is older!

Lovely idea and really great looking cards. I like to keep all the personalised cards too so that I can show my boys when they are older.

Thank you! c
We love to send out Christmas cards to everyone we know. But, we always end up been really late and miss out on last postage day, so this year we decided to send Christmas emails instead. I bought a couple of outfits for the whole family, and we’ll spend the next weekend taking (and probably re-touching) pictures.
Your son looks gorgeous, and I bet Grandparents will be over the moon in receiving such a sweet Christmas present.
A wonderful memory to keep safe forever! Happy Christmas XX #TwinklyTuesday
Christmas Emails is a great idea! Thank you for commenting x
I love this pick of A. The one that I messed up writing in is propped up next to my bed. Seems a shame to have it go to waste. #KCACOLS
