When I first started my blog I wanted it to be a parenting/life blog, but then my love of makeup took over and it became a beauty/life blog! I want to write more parenting posts but, since this is my first one, I’m keeping it still beauty-ish related by writing about my favourite baby care products!
Archer is almost 3 now so I’ve used quite a few products over the years. These here are my favourite 5 prodcuts!
JOHNSON’S BABY POWDER
This is a classic product, that I think probably everyone uses! We use the powder with Aloe and vitamin E over the regular one because it leaves Archer’s skin softer and heals nappy rash quicker! It has a really soft, clean scent and because you don’t need to use much, it lasts a while.
PALMER’S BABY WASH & BABY BUTTER
I love Palmer’s as a brand and we’ve been using Palmer’s on Archer since he was born! Not only are their products great, but they have the most amazing chocolate scent! Archer loves it and he also loves their packaging! I’m not sure what it is about it that he loves, but sometimes he will sneak into my bedroom and take only my Palmer’s products off the shelf and just walk around looking at them. The baby wash can be used to wash hair but we only use it to wash his body.
CURASH 2 IN 1 SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER
This is the only shampoo and conditioner we’ve ever used on Archer because it is just so great! Archer has a lot of hair and I thought we’d be going through this like crazy, but you only need one pump each wash so it lasts a really long time. I also use this to clean my makeup brushes! I mix a few pumps of this with some rubbing alcohol (to make sure my brushes are really clean) and it makes them look brand new!
JOHNSON’S NO MORE TANGLES DETANGLING SPRAY
Jason and I both have curly hair so obviously Archer does too. Archer hates sitting still so I can brush out his hair so this detangling spray helps a lot so it doesn’t hurt him or take a long time for me to do! This spray has lasted us quite a long time and it doesn’t have a strong smell like my detangling spray.

I didn’t realise palmers did Bath products, we can’t use johnsons as my son and I both suffer with eczema and it makes it flare up! #KCACOLS

aww look at Archie’s hair – what a beauty! no wander the detangling spray comes in handy 🙂 luckily my sons hair is fine like mine and very easy to brush after washing 🙂 we loved Johnson products. Haven’t tried the others tho. didn’t realise cocoa butter formula did baby products. will have to have a look next time im in the supermarket! #KCACOLS
