EMPTIES #2

It has been a few months since my first empties post, but I’ve finally gone through enough stuff to write another one! dsc_4508

PALMER’S OLIVE OIL FORMULA SHAMPOO AND CONDITIONER
I saw that Priceline recently started selling the Palmer’s Olive Oil range and I was so excited! I’m African so Olive Oil hair care is perfect for me. I’ve noticed a huge difference in my hair since using this and I will be purchasing it again soon!

GARNIER MICELLAR WATER
I am obsessed with this. It doesn’t matter what cleanser I use, my mascara and ABH dipbrow never comes off properly but the Micellar Water removes it completely in seconds and I don’t have to scrub hard at my eyes. I’ve bought 3 bottles of this so far and I’m sure I will be buying more!

AUSTRALIS MAKEUP FINISHING SPRITZ
I so desperately wanted to like this when I first bought it. I had seen so many people say it’s amazing and they can’t live without it but it’s basically just expensive scented water. It doesn’t make your makeup last longer like they claim it does. It did make my foundation sit nicer on my face, but it is 100% NOT a setting spray and does not make your makeup last longer. The empty bottle has been handy to have in my room though. I’ve filled it with water and I use it to wet my Real Techniques sponge. Probably would never buy this again.

OGX MOROCCAN OIL
I’ve been using this for years and now my husband has started using it too! I put it in my hair after I’ve washed it and he puts it in his beard. It’s a bit pricey, but Priceline have it half price regularly so I always pick it up on sale.

CEDEL HAIRSPRAY
This is another product that I’ve been using for years. It’s only about $5 and is for hard to hold hair. My sister would buy this one and I would sneak in her room and use it while she was out!

LA GIRL PRO CONCEALER
I wrote about my LA Girl concealers in my last post and I’m obsessed with them. They’re $8, full coverage and have an incredible range of shades. I will always buy more of these when I run out!

MAYBELLINE FIT ME CONCEALER
This concealer is good, but not as good as the LA Girl Concealers. LA Girl have a shade for EVERYONE, but Maybelline only have colours for white people and very light skin black people. It’s kind of ridiculous that they only have about 6 shades and they’re all incredibly light. I won’t be buying this concealer again as it is almost double the price of the LA Girl concealer and isn’t as good.

So those were all my empties! I’ve almost finished a bunch of my powders so I will probably have another empties post up soon!

The Garnier Micellar water was rubbish on my skin 🙁 Such a shame because I’ve heard great things about it x #KCACOLS

I use the Garnier micellar water too and really like it, it really does seem to cleanse so well. x #KCACOLS

I use the micellar water, it’s brilliant for removing all make up! I’ve not tried Moroccan oil before but I’ve heard it’s good.

Some great info! I must admit I don’t know much about any products at all as I hardly use any. What I do however is (or at least try to!) make sure that nothing I own is tested on animals – are any of these products you would recommend animal free at all? 🙂
