FEBRUARY HAUL

February 29, 2016

DSC_3421I’m back with my February haul! It’s a smaller one this month as Archer has started going to day care twice a week now and Jason and I have decided to have a bit of a spending ban, so if I have a March Haul it will probably be even smaller than this!

DSC_3428The first time I saw this LA Girl concealer was in a youtube video (I can’t remember the actual video) and I was amazed with how well it covered up spots so I looked around at a few shops and finally found it in Glow Cosmetics. Sadly they were selling everything they had left because they weren’t going to stock it anymore. I got one (luckily it was the right shade – medium bisque) and decided I would come back for more if I liked it. I loved it and when I went back they were sold out. I’m almost finished my first tube so I had to get another one. I searched around to try and find the cheapest Australian stockist I could. I found Lipstick Republic and decided to get it from there!

  • LA GIRL HD PRO CONCEALER – $8.95

DSC_3431I also picked up this while I was buying my concealer! My Australis eyebrow kit is almost empty so I decided to finally try the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow. I was a bit worried about buying it because there are so many shades and I didn’t want to get the wrong colour. I ended up buying it in the shade dark brown and it is perfect! I am so glad I decided to buy from Lipstick Republic. I paid for express shipping because I wanted to get it before the end of the week. I ordered on Tuesday morning and it arrived less than 24 hours later the next morning. I live in the country so express shipping usually takes 2 days. I will be buying from them again for sure!

  • ANASTASIA BEVERLYHILLS DIPBROW POMADE – $30.00

DSC_3426I won’t talk too much about this because I’ve already written a post on it, which you can read here. This is currently my favourite face mask. It smells amazing and works wonders. My skin is so incredibly soft after using it! I really love it!

  • NKD BLACK CLAY MASK – $17.95

DSC_3433On my quest for good skin I came across this! It was on clearance for $10 so I decided to give it a try! It smells a bit odd which is kind of off putting, but I’m going to ignore that and hope that it helps my skin! I’ve only used it a few times so I can’t say that it’s working yet, but in a few months I’ll update you all on how my skin is.

  • YES TO GRAPEFRUIT EVEN SKINTONE MOISTURIZER – $23.99

DSC_3434I love Formula 10.0.6 so when I got my Priceline Sister Club voucher I decided to try one of their procucts that I hadn’t tried before (it was also on sale which was a bonus)! My mum told me to try this not long ago and I just never got around to it. I now prefer this one to the orange one. This one has a more soothing feeling where as the orange one feels kind of harsh. This one smells a lot better too!

  • FORMULA 10.0.6 EVERYDAY SENSITIVE CLEANSER – $8.99

DSC_3432I really only bought this because I had to spend over $10 at Priceline to use my card. I’m glad I got it though. I did need a hand cream. It smells amazing (like all Palmer’s products do) and it seems to be working pretty good! I do get dry hands, especially after washing dishes.

  • PALMER’S SHEA BUTTER HAND CREAM – $4.39 (Priceline didn’t have it on their website)

DSC_3427I love hair masks so when I found this at Kmart I thought I would give it a try! I bought two, but I used one and it was pretty good! The other one I got was a Keratin smoothing deep conditioner and it was really nice! I can’t wait to try this one out!

  • ARGAN OIL FROM MOROCCO HASK – $3 (Kmart doesn’t sell these online)

DSC_3425This last one isn’t beauty related but I thought I would include it anyway! I have seen a lot of people posting about healing crystals and stuff like that lately so I thought I would give them a try. I only bought a few because the store I went to had thousands and I was a bit overwhelmed. I bought a few basic crystals to start off. Love, calming, ect. But I want to do some more research and then go back and buy specific crystals. I’m not sure where to buy these online so I won’t leave any kind of link because I don’t know if it is a trusted website. I paid about $12 for these at a local store.
I hope you enjoyed reading! I’d love to hear about what you’ve bought this month or if you’ve tried any of these products and what you thought of them!

I’ve used cucumber shampoo and conditioner by ‘Yes to’ and really liked them so I hope the moisturiser works out for you. You also can’t go wrong with any Palmers products. I couldn’t be separated from their stretch mark oil when I was pregnant :) Thanks for sharing with #KCACOLS and I hope you can join in again next week x

We’re big fans of crystals and have them beside our beds. The Dipbrow looks fascinating- is it wax or powder? My mummy is on the hunt for a new eyebrow kit X #KCACOLS
