KAYLA LOVES: NKD BODY BLACK CLAY MASK

February 11, 2016

I started watching Brittney Lee Saunders’ YouTube videos a few months ago and when I found out she had her own brand of face masks, hair masks, body butters and scrubs, I just had to try it out! The product that looked the most fun to me was the Black Clay Mask! NKD Body are Australian owned and made. They are also vegan, not tested on animals and 99% natural.I have wanted to try NKD Body for a while now, but just never got around to ordering anything. A few days ago one of my favourite local stores, Face Bar, posted on their Instagram that they now stock NKD Body!

I love and hate the packaging of this face mask. It is so cute and looks great on my makeup desk, but trying to get the actual mask out of the packet is kind of annoying. You have to squeeze and push it up from the bottom. I personally prefer tubes, but I’m sure I will get used to using this részletesebb.

When applying the mask you can tell it is natural. Most masks that I have tried burn my skin a little at first (apparently that is normal?) but this one didn’t and I loved that. It didn’t take very long to dry either. I was still putting it on and half of it had already dried! I like it when masks don’t take very long to dry, because sometimes clay masks can get a bit uncomfortable after a while.

Washing this off can get messy. Make sure you wash whatever you wipe it off with right after you’re done. It seems like something that would stain everything it touches. It does wipe of your skin really easy, though. Other clay masks that I have tried, once they dry, they are impossible to get off and you really have to scrub them off and then your face hurts. This one left my face feeling so fresh and clean!

I will definitely be buying this again and I can’t wait to try more NKD Body products!

Im generally more of a fan of peel off masks than clay ones, but the all natural non burning thing appeals. I love your pictures too. Thanks for sharing with us, Tracey xx #happydiaries

That’s great that the mask left your skin feeling fresh & clean. All the hard work is worth it in the end. I love the photo with the mask on – brilliant!! The container is a bit of a funny shape for squeezing a thick mask out of. #happydiaries

This sounds fab – I hate the ones that feel like they’re taking off half your face with it. Love the photos too! 😉 x #coolmumclub

Would love to try this one out. I think it’s a lovely time-out-pamper-yourself kind of thing every single mum needs in her life… at least once in awhile 😉 #happydiaries
